Jackie Stewart (GB) in need for a drink after he secured a second victory with a brandnew Grand Prix car, the Tyrrell-Ford, a car with striking looks from any angle. He won two respective street circuit races, one held at Montjuïc Barcelona on 18 April 1971, and this one in Monaco on 23 May 1971. A few months later the world championship title was also his and the team of Ken Tyrrell took the constructor's championship with the cars designed by Derek Gardner.
